Statement of Faith

We believe that:

• All scripture in the original text of the Old and New Testament is inspired by God and infallible. It is the Christian´s guide for understanding, life and ministry.
• There is one God eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
• Jesus Christ, the Son, is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. He died, shedding His literal blood in His substitutionary death for sinners. Then He was buried, arose from     the grave, ascended into Heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father.
• The Holy Spirit, Who is Lord and giver of life, convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. The Holy Spirit unites man to Jesus Christ by faith and comforts, seals and fills all believers.
• Man was created in the image and likeness of God. It was by man's free will that he disobeyed God, resulting in physical and spiritual death (separation from God). Every man is born with a sin nature, and is a sinner by nature, in need of divine salvation.
• Salvation is a gift from God accomplished by Christ's substitutionary death for us. All who believe in Him are justified by the shedding of His blood. Because salvation is given by grace, the believer's salvation is eternally secure.
• The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to all who believe in Jesus Christ. This takes place in each believer at the moment of salvation with continual filling which may follow. Each gift given by the Holy Spirit is for the edifying of the Body of Christ, and is still present today.
• Satan and his angels exist. He is the enemy of God’s saints and God’s work and he has power in this world. But Jesus Christ has disarmed Satan and his angels, openly made a show of them and triumphed over them. The believer can overcome Satan by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of God.
• It´s the believer's duty and joy to bring the Word of God and His love to the world today.
• The Church is the Body and the Bride of Christ, dedicated to worship and serve God, baptize new believers and share in the Lord's Supper. God calls His Church to teach all nations and disciple believers through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.
• Jesus Christ will return to rapture His Church. Following this event will be the seven-year tribulation period. Then Christ will come again to the earth and establish His kingdom for a 1,000-year period. Following will come the Great White Throne judgment of the unsaved, along with Satan being cast into the lake of fire. Then Christ will establish a New Heaven and a New Earth. This is the completion of all things.
